Mitaka MIPS – ICG Projection Mapping System
World’s first real-time ICG
projection mapping
Smooth navigation to areas of indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence, with mapping projected directly onto tissues to create an Augmented Reality experience. This allows the surgeon to remain focused on the operative field itself, without constantly shifting their gaze to a separate monitor.
Follow organ deformation
A unique way of displaying ICG saturation mapped directly onto tissues enables true real-time navigation, following the deformation and movements of organs, creating an augmented reality (AR) experience.
Working distance
With an effective projection distance of 1 m above the affected area, the surgeon’s working space remains comfortably large, while the camera head can be easily repositioned with one hand - just like an operating light.
The first and only ICG near-infrared Medical Imaging Projection System
Projection accuracy
Despite the long distance and challenging performance, the projection remains exceptionally precise. The delay of the projected image is under 0.2 seconds, enabling smooth tracking of movement, with a mapping margin below ±2 mm.
Visualisation modes and colours
MIPS offers a range of data presentation modes, including monochromatic projection in 7 selectable colours, or multicolour projection displaying a heat map in varied tones.
